On April 22, Consul General Li Lin visited Davao de Oro and personally handed over a donation of 1,000 school bags with food and candies for the children whose families were affected by the recent typhoon. At the same time, he led a delegation of Chinese enterprises including HUAWEI Philippines, China State Construction and Engineering Corporation LTD (CSCEC) and others to meet with the provincial government to exchange views on economic cooperation. 

Governor Jayvee Tyron Uy personally received the donation and expressed his appreciation for the timely support. He also welcomed the Chinese visiting delegation. He further introduced Davao de Oro and briefed the visitors with the province’s present economic climate and potential areas of cooperation.
